Great denim jacket with furry collar and cuffs by Todd Oldham Jeans! The usual Todd fun is here with the crown logo and “Please Enjoy” tag, plus the buttons are engraved with the Todd Oldham crown logo. There are six buttons on the front and the cuffs each have a hidden button (hidden in the fur). There are tabs on each side in the back that button so that the fit can be adjusted (see photos). Unlined, ala regular jeans jacket. 100% cotton. Assembled in Mexico.

Mr. Self-Taught-Fashion-Star, Todd Oldham (born Oct. 22, 1961) made his first dress when he was 15 years old (for his sister) out of a KMart pillow case. “My mom had made all her clothing herself so I learned how to sew when I was nine. And we dyed everything in the bathtub.” (apartmenttherapy) In the early 80s, after working three months for Ralph Lauren Polo in Dallas (he was fired – “I had green hair and would roller skate to work”), he started showing his own designs. His debut Todd Oldham line hit in 1989, and he won the Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent (1991). He has had a whirlwind career since: in addition to his own clothing, his output has included publishing books, designing footwear, purses, perfume, and furniture, working with Escada, Old Navy, and Target (2002-03), designing the Hotel of South Beach, and hosting MTV’s Todd Time (House of Style), and Fashionably Loud. “Oldham creates a kaleidoscope of decorative pastiche.” (The Fashion Book) Todd Oldham decided to stop making clothes when “I had nothing else to say…when I really thought that I had expressed myself fully.” How refreshing.
