Fashionable sunglasses by La Perla. Oval-shaped lenses are set in a tortoise-shell pattern frame. The hardware and the lenses are in great shape. There are no logos, ornaments or printing on the outside of the frames. On the inside of the right temple/arm is printed: LA PERLA Made in Italy CE. The frame measures about 5.5″ side to side at the lenses. The temple/arms are about 5″ long. The lenses are about 2″ wide and 1.5″ high (at the biggest point). The original case is not included. Made in Italy.

La Perla was started by a garment-maker named Ada Masotti in Bologna, Italy in 1954. Until swimwear was added in 1971, the company made fashionable lingerie. La Perla kept adding things to their repertoire – fragrances, jewelry, shoes, hats, eye wear, and clothing. The brand is still growing today, and is worn by top models and celebrities.
